socks your kids will love – seriously
So I witnessed a hilarious conversation between a friend of mine and her 15 year old son that involved the boy insisting that he needed his mother to buy him a pair of $14 socks – otherwise his social life would be ruined. As it turns out – apparently the key to social acceptance across the nations high schools is a weeks worth of the coveted Nike Dry Fit Elite Basketball Crew Socks.
Kids everywhere have taken to wearing their low top sneakers and throwback basketball shoes with a pair of these long black socks with white scaling across the back. I must admit – the look is kind of cool and very 1990′s penny hardiway (which I suppose is a good thing). Needless to say – I’ve reconfirmed this odd trend with a few other teens in my life and have confirmed – If you want your child to love you – spend the ridiculous amount of money on these otherwise ordinary socks.
